it takes 5 minutes' drive to battle abbey and battlefield. one of the restaurants, the plough inn, was only a short distance to the apartment. a pretty view from the window.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. the setting of the B&B was rural and quiet, providing a peaceful getaway. the breakfast served was delicious and cooked to order, adding to the positive experience.
The lack of credit card facilities was also unexpected and inconvenient, as we were only informed upon check-out.

Loved the three patio areas at the back of the house, perfect for enjoying a drink in the evening sun. The breakfast made from locally sourced produce was delicious. And the maintained garden with its countryside view was simply idyllic.
Oh, how thrilling it was to have a small child arrive halfway through my stay, waking me up at 7 am! And let's not forget the not-so-hot-enough evening bath water.

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The self-contained 'dairy' was cosy and quiet, with wonderful views of the fields. The log burner, TV, and free wifi access provided great comfort. The bedroom on a mezzanine level had an extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast served by Janet was excellent, and she was an amazing host. Her suggestions for places to eat and visit were spot on. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, transportation, location.
Nothing, it is perfect.

The rooms at St Benedicts Byre B&B are cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The private bathrooms with showers were a definite bonus for me, as I appreciate having my own space to freshen up in the mornings.
Personally, I found the showers a bit on the smaller side. But hey, that's just me!

What a hidden gem! The accommodations were mind-blowingly spacious and beautifully decorated. The hosts, Janet and David, had such gorgeous personalities, making us instantly adore them. The breakfast spread was super impressive, with a wide variety of choices and a stunningly set dining table. The comfortable bed made it hard to leave in the morning, and the tranquil countryside provided a jaw-droppingly peaceful atmosphere. A good pub nearby served delicious food, and the nice garden added to the overall charm. Highly recommend staying here for more than just a night. Hoping to return soon. Plus, free wi-fi, car park, and electric kettle provided.

the owners, Janet and David, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. the accommodation itself exceeded our expectations - it was actually an annex to the main house and was spacious and beautifully decorated. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious with a wide selection to choose from. Janet and David truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing and homely retreat. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.

Personally, I found the bathrooms a bit small, but hey, that's just my opinion. Others might still find it convenient.

We had epic adventures in the local area with our squad. We went on sick scenic walks with stunning views, found rad fishing spots to chill and catch some fish, and even hit up some dope golf courses and went horse riding. It was all just pure awesomeness!
Yo, the only thing we would've asked for is a sick party vibe at the B&B. Like, a cool hangout area or evening events where us young peeps could have had some lit partying.
